Two brothers from Assam tragically lost their lives in a fatal bike crash in Goa, leading to their father taking his own life as he couldn’t bear the devastating news.
The untimely passing of Papu Gogoi and Achyut Ranjan Gogoi, who served as security guards at different private firms in Goa, has brought immense grief and disbelief to their family and the tightly-knit community of Titabor in Jorhat district, Assam.
In addition to the tragic event, Anil Gogoi, the father, succumbed to the distressing news and tragically ended his own life by hanging himself at their home in Assam. The unbearable loss of their two sons, along with the subsequent loss of their father, has plunged the community into profound grief and disbelief.
In light of the tragic incident, the Chief Minister of Assam has instructed the chief secretary to make arrangements for the repatriation of the brothers’ bodies to Assam. As the community mourns the loss of these promising young lives, authorities are working diligently to provide support and assistance to the grieving family during this challenging period.
