The 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Assam are expected to feature a high-stakes contest between the ruling BJP, the opposition Congress, and other regional parties.
Together with elections for several State Assemblies, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the timetable for the much-awaited Lok Sabha Elections of 2024.
The Election Commission declared on March 16 that elections for Assam’s 14 Lok Sabha seats would be held in three phases on April 19, April 26, and May 7. The results will be declared on June 4.
