To improve public access to Aadhaar services, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has partnered with MapmyIndia to show authorized Aadhaar enrollment and update centers on the Mappls app. This initiative aims to help residents easily find verified centers across the country.

With this collaboration, users can search for nearby Aadhaar centers on the Mappls app and find important details such as services offered, operating hours, and accessibility features. This move is meant to improve transparency and ensure that citizens only visit authorized facilities.

Officials stated that this integration will lessen reliance on unofficial agents and lower the risk of fraud by directing users to verified Aadhaar Seva Kendras. It will also speed up the process of accessing Aadhaar-related services and make it more convenient.

This initiative supports the government’s wider goal for digital public infrastructure and improved living standards, using local platforms to deliver essential services more effectively.

UIDAI currently runs over 60,000 Aadhaar centers across the country, and mapping them on digital platforms is expected to greatly enhance accessibility for millions of users.
