As part of the UAE’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, the UAE has delivered aid packages specifically designed for children and women in Gaza through ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’.
Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), emphasized the dedication put into creating aid packages customized for the requirements of children and women as part of ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’. These packages play a crucial role in the ongoing humanitarian relief missions and food assistance provided to the Gaza Strip, with a special emphasis on the northern area.
Al Junaibi, during an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), discussed the distribution procedures of food packages in this mission. He emphasized that these activities play a crucial role in the UAE’s all-encompassing plan to offer humanitarian aid in Gaza, particularly through airdrops or aid convoys that go through the Rafah Border Crossing. This project highlights the UAE’s steadfast dedication to supporting Palestinians, particularly women and children, by guaranteeing their access to vital relief and food provisions.
Additionally, Al Junaibi underscored forthcoming strategies for distributing Eid dresses to Gaza residents, solidifying the continuous cooperation between the ERC and relevant state entities to deliver consistent aid to the Palestinian population. This act not only caters to immediate necessities but also instils a sense of normalcy and joy during significant cultural events.
The UAE’s unwavering dedication to assisting those in need is exemplified by the significant aid contributions made to Gaza under the initiative ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’. This demonstrates a combination of empathy and global leadership. By prioritizing the well-being of children and women in these endeavours, the UAE acknowledges the unique challenges faced by these vulnerable groups and ensures that aid is directed towards those who require it the most.
