On May 1, three friends went missing while swimming in a body of water in Manas National Park under odd circumstances. Two bodies remain missing, but one has been located.
When the event happened, Abhijit Karmakar and the young men, identified as Dwip and Raj Saha from North Athiyabari village on Barpeta Road, were visiting Manas National Park.
