According to reports, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of imprisoned Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, is set to participate in the rally organized by the INDIA bloc in Ranchi, Jharkhand on April 21.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP MP Sanjay Singh are anticipated to participate in the “Nyay Ulgulan Rally”.
A gathering was organized by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) to strategize for the upcoming rally. Kalpana Soren, a prominent figure within the JMM, gathered with fellow party members to coordinate efforts for the event. The rally is intended to voice opposition against the detention of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and is scheduled to be held at Prabhat Tara Ground.
Kalpana Soren encouraged party members to join in significant numbers and stressed the significance of fortifying the alliance. She brought attention to the purported bias by the central government towards Jharkhand and showed support for Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal, both of whom she asserted had been unfairly detained.
Sanjay Singh from the AAP cautioned about severe repercussions in the event of the BJP emerging victorious in the forthcoming elections, asserting that they would alter the constitution and weaken democratic values.
The forthcoming elections in Jharkhand are scheduled to be held in four phases on May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led NDA emerged victorious in 12 seats in Jharkhand, with the BJP itself claiming 11 seats. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress each managed to secure one seat in that particular election.
