Punjab police made a significant advancement by resolving a bank robbery case and apprehending three individuals after conducting a search operation in Punjab and Haryana, as stated by an official on Monday.
The suspects were apprehended with stolen money, and two firearms were seized from them. The Amritsar Commissionerate Police successfully cracked the armed bank robbery case in a short span of time by conducting a thorough search operation in Punjab and Haryana. All three individuals involved have been taken into custody along with the recovered stolen cash and two pistols (0.30 bore pistol and dummy pistol).
The Director General of Police (DGP) stressed the unwavering commitment of Punjab Police towards maintaining security, and strict measures will be implemented against individuals engaged in organized criminal activities. In a recent occurrence, Punjab police successfully prevented targeted assassinations by apprehending four operatives following a confrontation involving gunfire.
