Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Sunday that the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a significant step by including the transgender community and individuals over 70 years old, regardless of their economic status, in the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
During the presentation of the manifesto, ‘Sankalp Patra’, at the party headquarters in the national capital, Prime Minister Modi announced that the transgender community will now be included in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Additionally, the BJP has committed to ensuring that every individual over the age of 70 will be covered under the Ayushman Yojana.
The Prime Minister emphasized that all senior citizens aged 70 years and above, regardless of their economic status, will receive complimentary medical care up to Rs 5 lakh. He further stated that the party’s primary objectives include enhancing the quality of life, preserving dignity, and creating employment opportunities through strategic investments.
The nation eagerly anticipates the release of the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’. This anticipation is well-founded, as over the past decade, the BJP has diligently fulfilled every promise outlined in its manifesto. The ‘Sankalp Patra’ is designed to strengthen the four essential pillars of a prosperous India – the youth, women, the underprivileged, and farmers. Prime Minister Modi emphasized our commitment to enhancing the quality of life, providing job opportunities, and promoting dignity for all. Additionally, he revealed that the BJP has decided to double the loan amount offered under the MUDRA Yojana from 10 lakh to 20 lakhs.
Over the years, MUDRA Yojana has transformed millions of individuals into entrepreneurs, a remarkable achievement. Recognizing this success, the BJP has made a new commitment by increasing the loan limit under MUDRA Yojana from Rs 10 Lakhs to Rs 20 Lakhs. This decision is expected to contribute significantly to the development of an ecosystem that is essential for the era of Industry 4.0. The Prime Minister expressed his confidence in the positive impact of this change. Additionally, he assured that the existing free ration scheme will continue for the next five years. Modi guarantees the continuation of the free ration scheme for the next 5 years. He is committed to ensuring that the food provided to the underprivileged is nutritious, fulfilling, and affordable.
