On the 27th day of Ramadan, a massive crowd of 70,680 Muslims assembled at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi to commemorate Laylat Al Qadr, a crucial night in the Islamic religion.

On this momentous evening, 11,589 people participated in Taraweeh prayers and an impressive 59,091 took part in Tahajjud prayers. The mosque also distributed Iftar meals to 33,500 individuals, highlighting its dedication to supporting the community throughout the sacred month.

In addition to the parking spaces available at the mosque, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque center designated an extra 1,800 parking spots. To alleviate traffic congestion, a convenient shuttle bus service operates between the car parks and the mosque. Moreover, the center has gone a step further by offering over 70 electric cars and 50 wheelchairs to cater to the needs of individuals with special requirements.

In order to provide further support to the worshippers, an additional supply of water bottles was distributed throughout the mosque, complementing the over 3,515 comfortable seats strategically placed in different areas. Furthermore, a medically equipped ambulance was made accessible through collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.

The impressive turnout at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque throughout Ramadan emphasizes the importance of this holy time and demonstrates the unity and commitment of the community. Thanks to careful coordination and collaboration among different groups, worshippers could participate in prayers and Iftar meals in a hospitable and efficiently run setting.
