The collision resulted in the instantaneous demise of Avijit Saikia, who was operating the Ertiga vehicle. Furthermore, the incident caused injuries to two individuals, one of whom was a woman with severe wounds.
According to accounts from individuals present at the scene, it has been reported that the automobile, which displayed the registration number AS 03 AK 5253, was moving through Jakhalabanda town when it collided with a tanker filled with gas. This particular tanker was identified by the number AS 25 CC 9324 and was traveling in the opposite direction in Sarubhagia. The collision between these two vehicles resulted in a devastating and severe impact.
