Minister Pijush Hazarika, speaking at a rally in Mikirbheta, Dhing in Morigaon, attributed the deaths of numerous innocent individuals to a shortage of medical professionals, placing the blame on the Congress party.

The Minister asserted that the BJP has emerged victorious in all five constituencies of Assam – Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Kaziranga, Sonitpur, and Lakhimpur, following the completion of the first phase of elections. He censured Pradyut Bordoloi, the incumbent MP from Nagaon, for failing to make an appearance in the region during his tenure of five years.

The Minister asserted that throughout its 60-year governance, the Congress administration in Assam constructed merely six medical colleges, whereas the BJP managed to establish 18 within less than eight years. He contended that the dearth of medical professionals in rural regions is entirely attributable to the Congress party.

The Minister attributed the shortage of universities to Congress, noting that a mere seven had been established over a span of six decades, thereby impeding the educational opportunities available to the underprivileged. He further asserted that the residents of Assam would cast their votes in favour of Narendra Modi and Himanta Biswa Sarma, firmly rejecting the prospect of supporting the Congress party.

The Congress party was further condemned for engaging in corrupt practices during the construction of houses. It was argued that under the governance of the BJP, the responsibility of constructing houses was entrusted to the homeowners themselves. Additionally, the speaker highlighted several government initiatives, such as employment opportunities for the jobless, and emphasized the advantages of possessing a ration card. He provided reassurance that the government would cover the premiums for life insurance and accident insurance for all families possessing a ration card.

During another rally held in Besamari, Dhing, Nagaon, the Minister conveyed his unwavering belief in the triumph of Suresh Bora, the BJP candidate, in the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency election. Furthermore, he voiced his disapproval towards the AIUDF for their failure to furnish fundamental necessities like roads, embankments, and employment opportunities, while urging the populace to cast their votes in favour of the BJP.
