Jennifer Lalrinzuali emerged victorious as Miss Mizoram 2024 after competing in the Grand Finale that took place in Aizawl on April 26.
The highly anticipated event, which was a collaborative effort between Zonet TV and the Department of Women and Child Development, showcased intense competition among participants from Republic Veng and beyond.
Jennifer Lalrinzuali from Republic Veng emerged victorious as the new Miss Mizoram after enduring months of rigorous auditions and competitions. She was awarded a generous cash prize of ₹2 lakh, a sleek CK Vespa Scooter, and the esteemed title of Brand Ambassador for the Department of Women and Child Development.
Lalrinzuali emerged victorious among the 20 participants hailing from various regions of the state, as she captivated both the esteemed panel of judges and the audience with her grace, intellect, and unwavering dedication towards societal issues.
Rebecca Zothanpuii from Khawzawl secured the first runner-up position and was awarded a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. On the other hand, Evelyn Zachhingpuii from Saikhamakawn emerged as the second runner-up, receiving ₹50,000. The remaining three finalists, Lalhmingsangi from Kolasib, Lalrinhlui from Champhai, and two others, were each granted ₹25,000.
Furthermore, apart from the primary accolades, a number of distinctive commendations were bestowed. Lalhmingsangi was bestowed with the esteemed People’s Choice award, while R. Vanlalawmpuii hailing from Serchhip was the recipient of the BWAP award. Lalrinhlui triumphantly secured the Miss Beautiful Skin award, and Jennifer Zothanzuali from Lunglei was duly recognized as Miss Congeniality.
Jennifer Lalrinzuali, assuming the title of Miss Mizoram 2024, pledges to utilize her recently acquired authority to champion the causes of education, women’s rights, and environmental preservation. The pursuit of the crown commenced on March 25th through auditions held throughout the state. Following an arduous month of fierce rivalry, a fresh queen has emerged to embody the essence and valour of Mizoram.
