Impressively, the entire design and manufacturing process was completed within a remarkable timeframe of only 48 hours. The dummy ballot unit is equipped with interactive elements such as sound and light indicators, providing voters with a guided and user-friendly experience throughout the voting process.
The 3D printed dummy ballot unit has been meticulously designed to fulfil its primary purpose of acquainting citizens, particularly those who are new to voting and senior citizens, with the intricacies of the voting process. This innovative creation marks a substantial advancement in eradicating any doubts or uncertainties that may arise in relation to voting.
The collaboration between the SVEEP cell of Kamrup District and IIT Guwahati represents a noteworthy achievement in the field of voter education. Prof. Parameswar K. Iyer, the Dean of PRBR at IIT Guwahati, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing its capacity to equip individuals with a more comprehensive comprehension of the electoral procedure.
