Contrary to reports that emerged on May 1, 2024, suggesting that Goldy Brar, the gangster responsible for singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, was killed in a shooting incident in California, the US Police have firmly denied these claims.
They have clarified that these reports are entirely false and have been mistakenly associated with a separate shooting incident.
Two individuals were allegedly shot in Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, California yesterday following a confrontation. According to authorities in the United States, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Subsequently, numerous individuals on various social media platforms speculated that the deceased individual may have been Goldy Brar, a reputed gangster based in Canada. Several news agencies also reported on these speculations.
In a press release, Fresno police announced that on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 5:30 pm, officers in the Northwest District responded to a ShotSpotter activation at Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Xavier Gladney with a gunshot wound. Despite being transported to CRMC, Gladney was pronounced dead. Additionally, a 13-year-old child arrived at CRMC with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. This juvenile was also present at Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue during the fatal shooting of Gladney.
Following the incident, numerous individuals on various social media platforms were disseminating allegations regarding the identity of the individual who lost their life. It was being claimed that the deceased was Goldy Brar, a gangster based in Canada.
Goldy Brar, a trusted associate of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, gained attention when he publicly admitted to being responsible for the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala in a Facebook post. Sidhu Moose Wala was fatally shot while inside his vehicle near his hometown in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
