A colossal fire erupted at a scrap warehouse in the Bhiwandi region of Thane district, Maharashtra. The occurrence transpired during the night of Saturday, and fortunately, there have been no casualties reported.

The warehouse contained a variety of items such as wooden ply, plastic, paper, and cardboard, with approximately 15-20 warehouses being consumed by fire. Several vehicles were also impacted by the fire. The origin of the fire is still undetermined.

Firefighters are currently facing challenges in controlling the fire because of a lack of water supply. It is projected that it could take between five to six hours to completely put out the fire once an adequate water source is secured. More information regarding the situation will be provided as the operation progresses.
