ISRO Announces YUVIKA 2026; Applications to Open for Class 9 Students

Bengaluru: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organizing a special programme for School Children called "Young Scientist Programme" (YUva VIgyani KAryakram) YUVIKA, to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students with a preference to rural areas.

Who is eligible?

Students currently studying in Class 9 within India are eligible to apply. The goal is to catch them young and encourage more students to pursue STEM careers.

Application Process

The online registration will open next week on the official ISRO portal. Principals of targeted schools are encouraged to coordinate with students.
