The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the academic year 2024–25. This year, the Class 12 pass percentage stood at 88.39%, showing a slight increase from last year. Girls continued to outperform boys, maintaining a lead of over five percentage points.

For Class 10, the national pass percentage reached 93.60%, with girls securing a 95% pass rate, 2.37 percentage points higher than boys. Guwahati recorded a steady 84.14% pass rate for Class 10, slightly below the national average but in line with its consistent performance.

How to Check Results:

CBSE has made the results accessible through multiple official platforms in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and NeGD, Government of India. Students can check their mark sheets on the following websites:

cbse.gov.in

results.nic.in

results.digilocker.gov.in

umang.gov.in

Mobile Access:

Students can also use the DigiLocker App, available on both Android and iOS, to access their verified digital marksheets and certificates. CBSE is sending DigiLocker login credentials via SMS to students’ registered mobile numbers.

Important Note:

CBSE has advised students to avoid unofficial sources and rely solely on its verified platforms to check results and download documents.

New Grading System Introduced:

From this academic year onward, CBSE has implemented a Relative Grading System, replacing the earlier fixed grading scale. This new system assesses students in comparison to their peers, aiming to reduce academic pressure and foster a healthier learning environment.
