The CBSE has released the results for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams for 2024 today, on May 13.
This year, 87.98% of students cleared the Class 12 exams, while 93.6% cleared the Class 10 exams. Students who appeared for the exams can view their scores on official websites like results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in.
The Class 10 exams took place from February 15 to March 13, and the Class 12 exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Exams were conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to 01:30 pm on all days.
A total of 39 lakh students from 26 different countries took the exams, with 5.80 lakh students participating in the exams in the national capital across 877 examination centers.
The CBSE has decided to stop the practice of announcing merit lists for top-performing students in both Class 10 and 12 exams permanently to reduce unhealthy competition among students. The institution has announced its intention to grant merit certificates to the top 0.1% of students who have achieved the highest scores.
Results can also be accessed through the UMANG app, Digilocker app, Pariksha Sangam portal, and via SMS.
