Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, an eight-term Member of Parliament, disclosed her assets in a sworn affidavit submitted on May 1 while filing her nomination for the Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, an eight-time MP, has declared assets worth ₹97.17 crore in an affidavit submitted on Wednesday in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This disclosure was made while she is contesting for the Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat.

In 2019, the movable assets of ₹45.97 crore and immovable assets of ₹51.20 crore constituted the total assets. Furthermore, her bank balance increased from ₹17.83 crore to ₹18.47 crore.

The debentures, shares, and bonds she possessed demonstrated growth in her profits. She disclosed that she had obtained a revenue of ₹24.30 crore, a significant increase from the ₹5.55 crore she earned in 2019.

Likewise, her savings in the post office also saw a rise with earnings of ₹81.01 lakh. In 2019, she made ₹43.32 lakh. According to the affidavit, she owns 3.415 kilograms of gold and 85 kilograms of silver valued at ₹2.82 crore, in addition to a weapon worth ₹40,000.

Maneka Gandhi registered her nomination papers for the Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat, accompanied by Nishad Party President and Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad and Apna Dal leader and cabinet minister Ashish Patel. She reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing her work in the upcoming five years, especially in the realm of expanding housing opportunities under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
