The BJP appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges in 23 states. As well as coordinators and joint coordinator for the north eastern states.
Largely, accommodating leaders outside of the council of ministers, and at the same time looking for continuing by appointing people who served in those respective states.

• Bihar: Vinod Tawde as in-charge and Deepak Prakash as co-in-charge.
• Haryana: Satish Poonia as in-charge and Surendra Singh Nagar as co-in-charge.
• Himachal Pradesh: Shrikant Sharma as in-charge.
• Jammu and Kashmir: Tarun Chugh as in-charge.
• Jharkhand: Laxmikant Bajpai as in-charge.
• Karnataka: Radha Mohan Das Agarwal as in-charge and Sudhakar Reddy as co-in-charge.
• Kerala: Prakash Javadekar as in-charge and Aparajita Sarangi as co-in-charge.
• Madhya Pradesh: Dr. Mahendra Singh as in-charge and Satish Upadhyaya as co-in-charge.
• Nagaland and Meghalaya: Anil Antony as in-charge.
• Mizoram: Devesh Kumar as in-charge.
• North-eastern states: Sambit Patra as coordinator and V Muraleedharan as co-coordinator.
• Punjab: Vijay Rupani as in-charge and Narinder Singh as co-in-charge.
• Odisha: Vijaypal Singh Tomar as in-charge and Lata Usendi as co-in-charge.
• Uttarakhand: Dushyant Kumar Gautam as in-charge.
These appointments aim to strengthen the party’s presence and coordination across various states, with an eye on upcoming elections.
