The cast and crew of ‘All We Imagine as Light’, which won the Grand Prix award, were specially recognized for their stellar contributions. The celebrated film’s ensemble included Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Hridhu Haroon, and Aziz Nedumangad. Furthermore, acclaimed cinematographer Santosh Sivan was honoured for receiving the Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography Award.

The film ‘All We Imagine as Light’ premiered in the highly esteemed competition section of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on May 23. This marked a historic moment as it was the first Indian film to be featured in the festival’s main segment in 30 years. The film’s director, Payal Kapadia, made history by winning the Grand Prix Award, a remarkable achievement that resonated deeply within the Indian film community and beyond.

Prominent figures from the Indian film industry, including actor-director Farhan Akhtar and actress Kiara Advani, also extended their congratulations.
