The Assam HSLC Result 2024 has been declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. The SEBA 10th results were announced on April 20, 2024, at 10:30 am.
Over 4,00,000 candidates appeared in the SEBA Assam HSLC exam held throughout the state. The exam took place from February 16 to March 4, 2024, at different centres. It was split into two shifts: the first from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. An additional five minutes were allotted for reading the question paper, from 8:55 am to 9 am for the morning shift and 1:25 pm to 1:30 pm for the afternoon shift.
This year, the passing rate reached 75.7%, indicating an overall good performance across Assam. Of the total 4,25,966 candidates who submitted their applications for the examination, a total of 6,888 individuals were absent on the days of the exam. Additionally, 361 candidates had their results withheld, while 61 candidates were expelled from the examination. As a result, the final count of candidates who actually appeared for the exam was 419,078. Among these candidates, there were 1,87,904 males, 2,31,164 females, and a small group of 10 transgender individuals.
A total of 6,392 examinees achieved distinction by scoring 85% and above, with 20,552 individuals being acknowledged as STAR mark recipients for obtaining marks ranging from 75% to 84.99%. In addition, 1,05,873 students secured 1st division status, which includes both distinction and STAR mark holders, along with 1,50,764 students in 2nd division and 60,680 students in 3rd division.
Chirang emerged as the leading district with an impressive pass rate of 91.2%, closely followed by Nalbari at 88.1% and Baksa at 86.9%. In contrast, Udalguri district recorded the lowest pass percentage of 60.9%.

Bedanta Choudhury from Stella Maris School, Sarupeta, Barpeta, with 588 marks
Devashree Kashyap from Ramanujan Senior Secondary School, Nagaon, with 588 marks
