Officials announced on Monday that a recent exercise in the Arabian Sea showcased the impressive operational readiness of eight submarines operating together along the Western Seaboard.

Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh, overseeing the units at sea, evaluated the execution of the exercise and praised the team for their exceptional performance and professionalism. In his media address on Saturday, Admiral Hari Kumar, the Navy Chief, provided an update on the completion of a hundred days of naval operations in the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, and Red Sea. These operations were primarily focused on countering drones, missiles, and piracy activities. Admiral Kumar stressed the Navy’s dedication to taking proactive measures to prevent such incidents from occurring.

Furthermore, Admiral Kumar highlighted the significance of Operation Sankalp in dispelling the misconception of quick operations. He emphasized the importance of sustained efforts in ensuring ocean safety and stability. The Admiral also acknowledged the extensive deployment of 11 submarines and 30 warships across various oceanic regions, demonstrating the intense pace of operations and comprehensive coverage.
