In the wake of the horrific Pahalgam terror attack, where 25 tourists and a Kashmiri local were killed, India has launched a major crackdown in Jammu and Kashmir. Over the past six days, the homes of 10 terrorists have been demolished as part of the ongoing operation to dismantle the terror ecosystem in the region. Among those whose homes were razed are members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and The Resistance Front, including key suspects involved in terrorist activities.

Security forces have targeted the homes of known militants such as Adil Hussain Thoker, Zakir Ahmad Ganai, and Ahsan ul Haq Amir, who are linked to major terror groups operating in the region. The demolitions are part of a larger effort by Indian authorities to tackle terrorism and prevent future attacks. The crackdown, which includes searches and further demolitions, is expected to continue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and vowed to take strong action against those responsible. In a powerful statement, he said that India would not be broken by such acts of terror, and every terrorist and their backers would face severe consequences. The government’s response has included diplomatic measures, such as suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and halting visa services to Pakistani nationals.

This brutal act has escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, with both nations taking retaliatory steps. Pakistan has threatened to suspend the Simla Agreement, which governs the Line of Control between the two countries. As the situation continues to unfold, India remains resolute in its commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
