The Bengaluru Police’s Central Crime Branch (CCB) has allegedly issued a summons to eight individuals, including Telugu actress Hema, to attend a hearing related to the rave party held at a Farm House in Electronic City.
Among the 101 attendees, 86 tested positive for drugs. Suspicions arise that Hema and seven others were involved in drug trafficking, potentially bringing large quantities of drugs. The CCB has notified these individuals to appear in person, with intentions to extend notices to more people. Additionally, there’s a possibility of issuing notices to the offspring of certain politicians in Andhra Pradesh.
Reportedly, medical tests confirmed Hema’s consumption of MDMA, prompting the police to prepare a case against her under the NDPS Act. The CCB emphasized that if the aforementioned individuals fail to comply with the summons, further notices will be issued.
Actress Hema recently shared a video asserting that she was not present at the mentioned party. She clarified that instead of attending any event, she was relaxing at a farmhouse in Hyderabad. Hema urged people not to trust the circulating rumours, emphasizing that she had no knowledge of the party’s attendees and that reports of her presence there were false.
At a recent gathering on the outskirts of Bangalore, it was confirmed that 86 individuals had consumed drugs, igniting controversy over widespread drug usage among attendees. Among the attendees were 73 men and 30 women, including two Telugu actors, who were present at the rave party recently raided by the anti-narcotics wing of the Karnataka Police. Following the raid, Telugu celebrities Hema and Ashi Roy tested positive for drug consumption.
The event, occurring from May 18 at 5 pm to May 19 at 6 am, was reportedly a birthday celebration organized by Vasu, a resident of Hyderabad. According to reports, the party was estimated to cost ₹50 lakh per day. Additionally, a variety of drugs such as MDMA, cocaine, and hydro ganja were confiscated during the raid.
